Wasatch Elementary is beginning a busy week following Spring Break, featuring kindergarten programs and the start of end-of-year testing. The school is also hosting various grade-level activities and district competitions throughout the week.
Kindergarten families can attend the Kindergarten Spring Program at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Additionally, a Kindergarten Round Up Event for all prospective and incoming kindergarteners is scheduled for Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Fifth grade students will begin end-of-year testing this week, with the RISE writing test scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. Principal Desiree Olsen noted that parents can support students by ensuring they get enough rest, eat breakfast, and arrive at school on time.

On Tuesday, April 14, fourth grade will attend a BYU softball game field trip from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, April 15, the school's 3rd Grade Blue Team and 6th Grade Scribner Team will participate in the District Battle of the Books for their respective grade levels.
A school earthquake drill is set for Thursday, April 16.
Looking ahead, Wasatch Elementary has several upcoming events planned, including Teacher Appreciation Week from April 20-24 and various field trips to the Hogle Zoo and Aquarium. The school will also continue RISE assessments for multiple grade levels through early May.
