In 1A South baseball play on Wednesday, the Panguitch Bobcats defeated Pinnacle 25-0. Traiger Ramsay, Hudson Burningham, and Reuben Torgersen each drove in three runs, while Casey Walter earned the win on the mound with six strikeouts in two innings of work.
In another 1A South matchup on Wednesday, the Piute Thunderbirds defeated Green River 10-8. Frank Henry contributed three runs for the Thunderbirds, while Gabriel Quintana and Ernan Mendez each drove in two runs for the Pirates.
In 1A South baseball play on Wednesday, the Wayne Badgers defeated Valley 2-1. Teegan Flanagan and McKlane Fillmore each drove in a run for the Badgers.
In Region 20 volleyball play on Wednesday, the Escalante Moquis defeated Piute 3-2. Alison Holcomb recorded 11 kills to help the Moquis secure the win with scores of 20-25, 25-14, 17-25, 31-29, and 21-19.
Other results included North Sanpete defeating Union 3-0 in Region 13 volleyball, Panguitch defeating Valley 3-0 in non-region volleyball, and Juab defeating Summit Academy 3-1 in non-region volleyball.
