The Holladay Local Building Authority scheduled a public hearing for August 6, 2026, to discuss proposed budget amendments for the 2026-2027 fiscal year, according to a July 28 notice.
The meeting was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the City of Holladay’s temporary location, located at 3330 South 1300 East in Millcreek, Utah.
The purpose of the hearing was to receive public comments regarding proposed budget amendments. The proposed changes involve the Local Building Authority fund balance and expenditures related to Spring Lane Park.
According to the notice, the proposed amendments include using fund balance to increase the Spring Lane Park budget from 6,967,138 to 9,100,000. This would result in a total recommended revenue budget adjustment of 16,593,979.
Public inspection of the proposed amendments was available on the City’s website and at the office of the City Recorder during normal business hours.
