The Eagle Mountain Planning Commission scheduled public hearings for August 25, 2026, to review several development proposals and a municipal code amendment, according to a notice published August 13.
The hearings were scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Eagle Mountain City Council Chambers, located at 1650 E. Stagecoach Run. Items for public comment included the Gateway Park Plat 3 Preliminary Plat, which is intended for industrial and business park development on parcels north of Cory B Wride Memorial Highway and west of Mt Airey Drive.
Additionally, the commission was set to review site plans for two multi-tenant commercial buildings at Spring Run Plaza Lot 1 and Lot 2. These properties are located at the northeast corner of Spring Run Parkway and Cory B Wride Memorial Highway, east of Walmart.
The commission also planned to consider an amendment to the Eagle Mountain Municipal Code regarding Chapter 17.60.130. This amendment would add detailed design requirements for retaining wall construction and provide clarification on building permit requirements, field inspections, and allowable retaining wall locations.
Materials for the hearing items were available for viewing on the city website and at the Eagle Mountain City Recorder’s Office during normal business hours. The public was invited to participate in the meetings, and open portions could be viewed online at www.eaglemountain.gov.
