A paraglider who survived an initial crash in a remote area of Provo Canyon has succumbed to his injuries, according to reports from June 22, 2026.
The individual's craft went down in a steep area near Mount Timpanogos. At approximately 6 p.m. Sunday, the injured person called dispatch to share his approximate location.
During the call to dispatch, the patient stated he was located in a narrow ravine.
While the paraglider was able to alert Utah County dispatch regarding his position, officials later confirmed that he passed away from his injuries.
