Edgemont has scheduled a variety of school events and academic activities for the week of May 11. The schedule includes NWEA Reading testing, musical concerts, and several student presentations across different grade levels.
The week begins on Monday, May 11, with an operations team meeting at 9:00 am and an Edgemont band, orchestra, and choir concert held in the gym at 6:00 pm. Tuesday features NWEA Reading testing and a choir celebration at 7:30 am.
On Wednesday, May 13, NWEA reading testing continues alongside talent show tryouts at 11:00 am and a 3rd grade field trip at 1:00 pm. Thursday activities include further talent show tryouts, a PTA meeting at 1:00 pm, and a 4th grade mountain man presentation in the gym at 2:00 pm.
The week concludes on Friday, May 15, with a band, orchestra, and choir assembly for K-6 students at 10:00 am. Other scheduled events for Friday include talent show tryouts at 11:00 am and a 5th grade historical figure wax museum in the gym at 12:45 pm.
Looking ahead, Edgemont has several events planned for the following week. Scheduled activities include a 6th grade field trip to RUSH fun complex on May 18, an Edgemont PTA 5K on May 19, and Field Day on May 20. The school term is set to end on May 22, which will also feature Kindergarten graduation and a Kindergarten Family picnic.
