SUU Alumna Ariel Loveland Reflects on How SUU Prepared Her to Educate Others

Higher education can bring many benefits to graduates, such as better pay and new possibilities. A prime example of this is Ariel Loveland, a graduate of Southern Utah University's Master of Music Education (MME) program, who explained how her degree gave her an advantage in the workplace.
"The more education you have, the more opportunities you will have," Loveland said.
When a colleague mentioned the benefits musicians often receive when they hold a master's degree, Loveland began her research for a good graduate program. After much research, Loveland was drawn to the flexibility, affordability, and unique curriculum of SUU's MME program.
"I applied and got in right away," Loveland said. "I launched, got a 4.0, and made beloved friends."
Loveland is now in a doctoral program and is confident about what she hopes to achieve. She said she'll never forget the extraordinary chances she got to learn as a T-bird.
"There are more opportunities for you," she said. "There are more lives to bless, and that's why I went into music education in the first place. For other people."
