Minutes from the previous meeting were approved.
Language arts testing scores have declined. The school plans to improve scores through teacher training, data analysis, and proven instructional strategies. Student progress will be monitored, and personalized strategies will be developed to support growth. An additional reading aide will be hired next year.
Math scores have remained steady. The school will continue focusing on interventions for students not meeting benchmarks and increase teacher training. New math software will be purchased, and 1.5 math aides will be hired.
A motion was approved and seconded to vote on the Trustlands Plan. Members voted and approved the plan for next year.
The council will check whether the district has a policy regarding whether campus access is open or closed before school starts.
A motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting.
