The Central Valley Town Council was scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, according to a September 15 notice. The meeting was set to take place at the Central Valley Community Center located at 50 West Center Street.
The agenda for the meeting included the review and approval of minutes from Aug. 19, 2026, and the approval of August 2026 monthly financials. Council members were scheduled to discuss amending the water ordinance and the water rate structure.
Additionally, the council was set to receive reports from David Nielson regarding roads, Susan Outzen regarding planning and zoning, Ron Cropper regarding parks, Joe Reynolds regarding water, and Mayor Gary Barney. The meeting also included discussions regarding updates from Town Attorney Josh Christner concerning canal conversion status and Honus Busk status.
