The Central Valley Town Council will hold a public hearing and a regular scheduled meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, according to a September 15 notice. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Central Valley Community Center located at 50 West Center Street.
The agenda for the meeting includes the review and approval of the August 19, 2026, minutes and the August 2026 monthly financials. Council members and department heads are scheduled to provide reports, including David Nielson for Roads, Susan Outzen for Planning and Zoning, Ron Cropper for Parks, and Joe Reynolds for Water, as well as Mayor Gary Barney.
Additional business items include reviewing and discussing amendments to the water ordinance and the water rate structure. The council also intends to discuss updates with Town Attorney Josh Christner regarding the status of canal conversion and Honus Busk.
