The Millcreek City Council scheduled a public hearing for August 24, 2026, to consider a monetary contribution of up to $20,000 for the Millcreek City Emergency Response Fund, according to a August 5 statement.
The hearing was scheduled to begin at approximately 7:00 p.m. at Millcreek City Hall, located at 1330 E Chambers Avenue, Millcreek, Utah 84106. Pursuant to Utah Code Ann. §10-2-8, a study regarding the appropriation was performed and was made available for review at City Hall during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The public was invited to attend the hearing and provide comments. The meeting was scheduled to be live streamed via the City's website, and public comments could be submitted through the City's website. Council members could participate in the electronic meeting from remote locations using GoToMeeting, Zoom, or telephonic communications.
Individuals requiring special accommodations during the public hearing were instructed to notify the ADA Coordinator at least 48 hours in advance.
