In Farmington, the Fire Department announced on June 26 that it is actively responding to temporary statewide fireworks restrictions recently issued by the Governor. Due to current wildfire conditions, officials stated that fireworks use in Farmington should currently be considered restricted.
The Farmington Fire Department is currently meeting with city leadership to discuss the implications of the state guidance and determine local impacts. The City of Santa Clara released its 2026 fireworks map and restrictions on June 23, outlining specific permitted windows for consumer fireworks discharge. For the Independence Day period, which spans July 2 through July 5, the city has extended permitted discharge hours until midnight on July 4.

In Santa Clara, areas highlighted in red are strictly prohibited for fireworks use, while green-highlighted park areas—including Archie H.
