Additionally, he noted a major contract with a group that trains at the range, describing it as a good source of income for the city. Jeppsen also manages complex fiscal matters and budget reallocations. During a council meeting on June 12, 2025, he provided an update regarding a revised budget. He explained that approximately $500,000 would be reallocated to capital projects to maintain compliance with the allowable maximum general fund balance. He indicated that this funding would be directed toward landscaping projects and the 1200 West North Side project. The remaining funds were slated to be distributed equally among the parks department, the public works facility, and the gun range.
In addition to infrastructure and fiscal management, Jeppsen oversees matters of city appointments and community engagement. In June 2025, he proposed the reappointment of Stephen Moss to the Planning Commission. He also noted improvements in how citizens interact with city services, such as the implementation of Xpress Bill Pay for utility accounts.
