The Boulder Town Council will hold a regular meeting on Oct. 6, 2026, according to a public notice published Oct. 1. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Boulder Community Center, located at 351 North 100 East in Boulder, Utah.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes several administrative action items. The council will consider Resolution No. 2026-W, which would terminate the 2026 seasonal fire restrictions. Additionally, officials will consider a flat-rate cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for the town staff pay schedule and a funding request from the Special Events Community Account for a 6th grade Washington D.C. field trip.
Legislative items on the agenda include consideration of Resolution No. 2026-X to amend the purchasing and procurement policy, as well as Resolution No. 2026-Y to amend the fee and fine schedule. During the presentations and reports portion of the meeting, Boulder 6th graders are scheduled to present regarding funding support for a Washington D.C. field trip, and Matt Cochran will provide an update on Rotenone.
A work session is planned to discuss several topics, including the assignment of Planning Commission priorities and cemetery road maintenance. The council will also consider an ordinance to replace the Board of Adjustment with an Administrative Law Judge appeal. Council Member Ellis is scheduled to lead a discussion regarding agenda structure.
The next regular meeting for the Boulder Town Council is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 6:00 p.m.
