The Office of the Utah Attorney General is accepting applications for its 2026–27 Student Advisory Council. San Juan School District juniors and seniors have an opportunity to ensure community voices are heard at the state level through this program.
Council members will meet monthly to share student perspectives on issues facing the Attorney General’s Office. Participants will also hear from state leaders and legal professionals and learn how to make an impact in their schools and communities.
Students from San Juan County can participate in meetings virtually, as distance is not a barrier to participation.
Applications are open to juniors and seniors and close Friday, September 4. Interested students can learn more and apply at https://attorneygeneral.utah.gov/student-council/
