The Herriman City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on September 16, 2026, to review proposed amendments to Title 10 of the Herriman City Code, according to a September 4 notice.
The meeting is scheduled to take place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, located at 5355 W. Herriman Main Street, Herriman, Utah.
According to the notice, the commission will consider a recommendation to amend the Land Development Code to comply with current Utah Municipal Land Use, Development, and Management Act requirements. These updates include changes to public notice requirements, statutory references, and limitations on land use regulations.
Additional items on the agenda include amending and clarifying regulations for accessory dwelling units and allowing Government Service and Protective Service as a permitted land use in agricultural and residential zones. The commission will also address technical, non-substantive amendments intended to clarify the existing code.
