Pioneer Day Fireworks Statement from Vineyard City 2026

Note: Fireworks may only be discharged on private property with the permission of the property owner.
Please note that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not permit fireworks on its properties, including church buildings and parking lots.
As we celebrate Pioneer Day, Vineyard City reminds residents that personal fireworks are permitted only within the designated fireworks discharge areas approved by the City and Fire Department.
If you're planning to use personal fireworks, please help keep our community safe:
Use fireworks only within the designated discharge areas.
Keep a bucket of water, hose, or fire extinguisher nearby.
Light fireworks on a flat, nonflammable surface and away from dry vegetation.
Never aim or throw fireworks at people, buildings, vehicles, or animals.
Fully extinguish and properly dispose of used fireworks once they have cooled.
If a fire starts or an emergency occurs, call 911 immediately.
These restrictions were established in coordination with the Fire Department under the Governor's Executive Order and are intended to balance holiday celebrations with the safety of our residents, firefighters, and natural areas.
Thank you for doing your part to keep Vineyard safe this Pioneer Day. We wish everyone a fun, safe, and happy holiday!
