A Truth in Taxation Hearing was held on August 11, 2026, to address a proposed property tax increase. The City Council determined that the final budget reflects community priorities and meets all legal requirements.
The City Council approved the resolution with votes from Councilmembers Val Preslar, Jenny Chamberlain, Joey Campbell, Todd Sands, and Wayne Olsen. Per state requirements, the Budget Officer must file a certified copy of the adopted budget with the State Auditor within 30 days.
