At Shoreline Middle School, Kristen Weixler creates a choir environment where students feel safe, confident, and excited to sing. Her classroom blends high expectations with warmth and encouragement. Students say she knows exactly how to balance structure and fun.

Mrs. Weixler is so kind. She's one of the sweetest people I know. I love how patient she is when we get something wrong, or don't get the song immediately. I also love how she runs her class: it's organized, fun, and it helps us learn efficiently. She's really good at singing as well, I like how her beautiful voice makes it easy to hear how the songs should sound.
