Various mountain biking trails across Utah offer diverse terrain ranging from smooth, easy paths to intermediate technical routes. Updates to several trail systems were recorded throughout 2026, including new connectors and remodeled sections.

This system was updated in August 2026 and is located approximately one mile from town. Nearby, the Eagle Crest trail at Traverse Ridge features 2.5 miles of singletrack hugging oak-brush hillsides. This trail was updated in July 2026 to include a preferred eastbound alternate route.
In the Sand Flats area, Falcon Flow is an intermediate technical, downhill-only trail that is part of the Raptor Route. It spans between Hawk's Glide and Kestrel Run and was updated in 2026 with the addition of the Falcon Climb uphill trail. In the Hog Hollow area, the Carpe Diem trail starts on upper Three Falls and drops to lower Hog Hollow. This trail features light technical terrain and medium work, with a season running from late May through November. It underwent remodeling in 2026.
In the Moab area, the Mud Springs trail system is a highly-engineered, machine-built flow trail system located roughly 11 miles south of Moab. Riding in this Wildlife Management Area is permitted only from April 15 to December 1.
The Bonneville Shoreline in Herriman includes two segments of singletrack joined by the Diamondback and Eric's trails. This area was updated in 2026 for a new trail and features easy-intermediate climbing on the northern segment.
Other notable trails include the Tall T trail, which connects the Bonanza Loop to the Wowza trails, rising to 9,350 feet over its 4-mile length. The Wowza trail is a two-way trail that connects WOW to Tall T, with a parallel downhill-only option called Wowza DH.
In the Fort Canyon area, the Fort Canyon DH provides 1.1 miles of tables and rollers suitable for intermediate riders. This trail begins on the ridgeline above upper Fort Canyon and ends above the Fort Canyon Ranch trailhead. Additionally, the Woods Hollow and Rattle and Hum trails on the south side of Traverse Mountain offer easy riding, with Rattle and Hum serving as a two-mile one-way downhill return path.
