Brian Head Resort announced that summer operations were scheduled to begin on June 12, featuring mountain biking, hiking, and scenic lift rides. While the winter season had concluded, work remained underway for the upcoming 2026/2027 season.
Upcoming Summer Events Calendar
An events calendar was established for the warmer months, including the Utah Summer Games, 4th of July celebrations, Brian Head Days, and the Escape the Heat Music Series.
Major Snowmaking Capacity Expansion
A major snowmaking project was initiated for the summer to double snowmaking capacity on the Navajo side of the mountain. This project followed a winter season where the resort served as the first mountain to open in Utah, delivering 160 days on snow.
Summer Benefits for Pass Holders
Season pass holders for 2026/2027 could access various benefits during the summer months. The Power Pass and Power Pass Select included 10 interconnected days at Valle Nevado and La Parva for the 2026 season, as well as five free rounds of golf split between Birdie Ranch and Bison Golf Club.
Additional Discounts and Savings
Other available discounts for eligible passes included 10% off on-mountain dining, 10% off gear and apparel at mountain shops, and up to 30% savings on lodging at Power Pass mountains. Certain passes also provided six discounted lift tickets at 50% of the online rate, which could be used for winter lift tickets, scenic chairlift rides, or mountain bike uplifts.
Season Pass Purchase Deadline
The deadline to secure the lowest monthly price and the longest 0% interest payment window for the 2026/2027 season pass was June 14. Passes were noted to start as low as $15 per month.
