The AP Top 25 preseason college football rankings have been released. According to the AP, the preseason rankings feature Ohio State at number one and Oregon at number two.
The preseason poll includes several prominent teams, such as Georgia in third place and Notre Dame in fourth. Texas follows in fifth, with Indiana ranked sixth and Miami (FL) in seventh. Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, LSU, Texas Tech, Alabama, BYU, USC, Michigan, Washington, Penn State, SMU, Tennessee, Utah, Iowa, Houston, Louisville, and Missouri also appear in the top 25 rankings.
A fan poll is scheduled to begin voting on Sept. 1. The poll will remain open until Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. ET. Results from the fan poll are scheduled to be released on Sept. 8 at 2 p.m. ET alongside the AP Top 25.
The AP Top 25 poll has been a college football tradition since 1936.
