Yuba State Park has implemented Stage 2 Fire Restrictions, prohibiting all open fires of any kind. This restriction includes fires within established fire pits, charcoal grills, pellet grills, and any other ash-producing fuel.
Under the current restrictions, properly shielded gas or liquid-fueled portable camp stoves with a shut-off valve are permitted, provided they are used in an area at least three feet in diameter that is barren and free of flammable vegetation.
Current conditions at the park include updates to boat ramp accessibility. The Painted Rocks Boat Ramp is currently closed because of low water levels. Meanwhile, the Oasis Boat Ramp remains open under an advisory, with two lanes available and 65 feet of ramp remaining.
For those visiting the Antimony area, the park offers various amenities including newly renovated Walleye and Perch cabins. These cabins feature queen mattresses on bunk beds, microwave access, mini fridges, and climate control via heating and A/C.
Visitors to Yuba State Park can engage in activities such as fishing for walleye, perch, northern pike, tiger muskie, catfish, and carp. The park also provides access to hiking and Off Highway All Terrain Vehicle trails.
All fees apply even when the entrance station is not staffed. Visitors are instructed to use the self-pay envelope system or scan a QR code upon arrival for day use or camping payments. Only one vehicle is permitted per campsite, as additional vehicles require an extra pass.
