The Pleasant Grove City Council will convene for a work session at 4:30 p.m. followed by a regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The meetings will take place in the Community Room located at 108 S 100 E in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
During the work session, officials are scheduled to receive an update from the Historic Preservation Commission provided by Laurel Cunningham. The session will also include a discussion of the Watering Incentive Program led by Daniel Cárdenas and a budget discussion.
The regular meeting agenda features several public hearing items. One hearing will consider Resolution 2026-12, which seeks to increase the monthly base fee for Timpanogos Special Service District (TSSD) charges for sewer treatment and sewage disposal from $13.00 to $16.56 per month. This change is intended to address an 18 percent increase in fees imposed on the City by the District as of January 2026, with the new rate set to appear on May 1, 2026 bills.
Other public hearings include discussions on amending fencing standards and definitions regarding attached buildings. Additionally, the council will hear a request for a commercial site plan for a five-story luxury apartment building at 1312 S Valley Grove Way, as well as zone changes involving the Grove Business Park Overlay.
The council will also consider several action items for vote. These include resolutions regarding easements for Rocky Mountain Power to relocate a transformer at the rodeo grounds and power lines at Discovery Park to accommodate AT&T. Other items include an interlocal agreement with the Utah County Department of Health and Communities and a development agreement for flex space in Valley Grove IV, LLC.
Consent items on the agenda include various payments for construction projects, such as the American Fork River Diversion Reconstruction Project, the Cook Family Park Project, and the Battle Creek Trailhead Parking Lot improvements project.
The meeting will also feature presentations to recognize the PGHS Girls State Basketball Champions and to present URPA Awards. The council is also scheduled to consider a proclamation declaring April 23, 2026, as Arbor Day.
