The Pleasant Grove City Council will hold a work session and a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. The work session is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room located at 108 S 100 E, followed by a regular council meeting at 6:00 p.m.
During the work session, Recreation Director Megan Zollinger will lead a discussion on the Adaptive Share Program. The council will also discuss pickleball courts at Discovery Park.
The regular meeting includes several action items. The council will consider a resolution to adopt a certified tax rate for the City of Pleasant Grove for Fiscal Year 2027, covering July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Additionally, a public hearing is scheduled to consider a resolution adopting the final budget for the same fiscal year.
Finance Director Roy is scheduled to present a property tax impact statement for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026. Administrator Darrington will also present regarding direction to staff for the Discovery Park Pickleball Courts.
Consent items for the meeting include the approval of City Council minutes from the July 21, 2026, meeting. The council will also consider payments to Condie Construction Co., LLC for the 800 North Area Waterline, Drainage and Roadway Reconstruction Project, and Black Forest Paving for the 1100 East Area Waterline and Roadway Reconstruction Project. The council will also review payment reports from August 6, 2026.
