Lincoln Academy has announced a variety of upcoming events and school updates for the period spanning April 27th to May 4th, 2026. The schedule includes student testing, field trips, and community-focused activities such as the Battle of the Books and an end-of-year BBQ.
Several key events are scheduled for late April and early May. Kindergarten testing is set for April 27th through April 30th, while a first-grade field trip to the Loveland Aquarium will take place on April 28th. Other notable dates include the Fine Arts Committee meeting on April 27th, a girls soccer game on April 27th, and the start of Battle of the Books from May 4th through May 8th.
On May 1st, students can participate in Pizza with Principal in the counseling room between 11:00 am and 12:15 pm. The week concludes with a Star Wars Donation Dress Day and an End of Year BBQ on May 4th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The school is also requesting community support for end-of-year testing. The academy is collecting donations of individually packaged healthy snacks, such as granola bars, fruit snacks, and applesauce pouches, to help students stay focused during testing days. These items can be dropped off at the front office.

Safety remains a priority for the school community. Administration is asking families to follow carpool procedures, drive slowly through school zones, and avoid blocking mailboxes or fire hydrants. The school also requests that students respect neighboring properties by avoiding walking through nearby yards or leaving trash behind.
For students seeking extra academic support, the Academic Lab at American Fork City Library offers free math and reading help. Walk-in math help for grades 7th through 12th is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while registration is required for certain sessions for grades 1st through 6th.
