Stage 2 Fire Restrictions have been implemented at Frontier Homestead State Park Museum, prohibiting all open fires of any kind. This restriction includes fires within established fire pits, charcoal grills, pellet grills, and the use of ash-producing fuel.
Properly shielded gas or liquid-fueled portable camp stoves with a shut-off valve remain allowed, provided they are used in an area at least three feet in diameter that is barren and free of flammable vegetation.
The Frontier Homestead State Park Museum offers exhibits on the pioneer and early industrial history of Iron County, Cedar City, and southwest Utah. The site features a replica blast furnace, a sawmill, historic buildings, a Native Heritage exhibit, and an extensive collection of horse-drawn wagons.
Visitors can participate in various interpretive programs and hands-on activities throughout the year, such as Sheep-to-Shawl and Iron Mission Days, along with seasonal events.
