Toquerville City has recently celebrated a series of community events designed to honor veterans and foster local engagement. These gatherings included the Wreaths Across America initiative, a Veterans Day cinnamon roll giveaway, and seasonal social events like Trunk or Treat.
The Wreaths Across America event in Toquerville was noted for its efforts to honor veterans by placing wreaths on graves during the holiday season. Greg Turner was recognized for his outstanding efforts and dedication in helping bring this nationwide tradition to life within the community.
To celebrate Veterans Day, the city hosted its annual Cinnamon Roll Giveaway to show appreciation for military service. This year, residents shared homemade cinnamon rolls baked by Toquerville resident Stephanie Williams.
Seasonal festivities also included a Trunk or Treat event where families gathered for an evening of decorated trunks, costumes, and treats. The event featured a potato bar and music to bring the community together.
Additionally, the Spring Social 2024 provided a gathering centered around food such as hamburgers, hotdogs, popcorn, and cookies.
