Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah, will host the 2026 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series. The event will bring elite international cross-country mountain bike racing to the Olympic venue.
The competition at Soldier Hollow will include both UCI Cross-country Olympic (XCO) and Cross-country Short Track (XCC) World Cup disciplines. This venue is one of only three North American stops scheduled for the 2026 series.
Dallin Koecher, Executive Director of the Heber Valley Tourism, Chamber, and Economic Development office, stated that hosting the series is a tremendous opportunity for Heber Valley to welcome athletes, teams, fans, and media from around the world. Koecher noted the event introduces more people to the area's outdoor recreation and hospitality.
Soldier Hollow served as a primary venue for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, hosting cross-country skiing and biathlon. The mountain bike course is designed to challenge athletes with technical terrain, climbing, and high-speed sections.
The site is also the training ground for Paris 2024 Olympic silver medalist and Park City native Haley Batten.
The 2026 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series includes various disciplines including downhill and enduro. The series features 14 race weekends across nine countries and three continents.
