Syracuse High School scheduled an AmeriCUSE Homecoming football game against Alta. The event was set to include special tributes honoring America's 250th birthday and the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
According to a notice from Syracuse High Athletics, the game featured several scheduled attractions, including a Blackhawk fly-over and a parachuter during halftime. The event also included a special announcement by actor Kevin James, homecoming royalty, and performances by Dance Line, Cheer, and Dance Company.
Additional festivities included fireworks and a special tribute for an active duty member of Syracuse High. Gates were scheduled to open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. game.
Tickets for the game were available exclusively through dsdgives. Pricing was set at $12 for adults and $8 for students, with no cash sales available.
