Red Fleet State Park has implemented Stage 2 Fire Restrictions, which prohibit all open fires of any kind. This restriction includes fires within established fire pits, charcoal grills, pellet grills, and any other ash-producing fuel.
Properly shielded gas or liquid-fueled portable camp stoves with a shut-off valve are permitted, provided they are used in an area at least three feet in diameter that is barren and free of flammable vegetation.
The park has also issued an advisory regarding the boat ramp status. The boat ramp may be operating at a reduced capacity or faces the possibility of closing soon.
Visitors to the park can access dinosaur tracks that are 200 million years old, fish and boat on Red Fleet Reservoir, or use the campgrounds overlooking the desert and sandstone landscape.
Red Fleet State Park does not provide refunds due to weather, bugs, early camping departures, or the duration of time spent within the park.
