Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop in Midvale near South State Street, according to a report published August 9. The operation involved a vehicle identified by a black roof rack on top.
According to dispatch audio, the vehicle pulled into the Astro Burger parking lot during the incident. Officers requested additional units and performed a safety sweep of a nearby residence.
During the operation, the driver was described as a black male. Officers also noted the location of the incident near 6811 South State Street and 7200 South.
The situation was later reported as code 4 and cleared by Midvale units. The incident was documented via public dispatch audio.
