Bountiful Elementary has launched its first full week of school with a focus on the theme Make It Matter: Start Strong. According to a notice from the school, the emphasis is on students being present, on time, and ready to learn to help establish daily routines.
The school is hosting a PTA-sponsored Hello Week, themed Happy to Sea You, which features ocean-themed activities such as games and crafts. These activities are designed to help students make new connections and learn how to make others feel welcome. Regarding upcoming deadlines, registration for the PTA-sponsored Fall Musical Theater Workshop was due on Friday, August 28. School officials requested that families help build morning routines to ensure students arrive calmly and on time. The school also advised parents to send children with water bottles daily due to warm building temperatures. To ensure safety, families were asked to drive slowly and watch crosswalks during the busy arrival and pickup periods.
