Murray High School is offering two different medical internship opportunities for the second semester. The available programs include an AHEC Crossroads internship and an Intermountain Healthcare Discovery internship.
The AHEC Crossroads program has two open spots available for 11th and 12th grade students. Participants must have an available A5 or B5 schedule and meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Students are responsible for providing their own transportation to various sites in the Salt Lake Valley.
The Intermountain Healthcare Discovery program has up to 10 open spots for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. This program requires students to have both A5 and B5 available. Meetings are held every Thursday from 1:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. While the location is walkable to the Intermountain Medical Center, students must provide their own transportation home.
Applications for these internships must be completed as soon as possible, as the application process will close on Friday, Oct. 30. Students with questions can visit the Career Center to speak with Ms. Rydalch.
