Lincoln Academy announced a variety of upcoming activities and school updates in a report published September 14, 2026.
The announcement included details regarding vision screenings, athletic games, and an upcoming fall festival fundraiser.
A vision screening was scheduled for September 14, 2026, through a partnership with Friends for Sight. The free screenings were designated for students in Kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 5th grade, 7th grade, 9th grade, and all students receiving special education services.
The school sought volunteers for the screening process on September 14, 2026, between 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
The Lincoln Academy Fall Festival fundraiser was scheduled for September 18, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the school backyard. Funds raised from the event are intended for junior high sports uniforms, a new gym projector, and a new elementary playground climbing structure.
Wristbands for the event are available for purchase, with online sales ending at midnight on September 17, 2026. At the door, wristbands are priced at $20 per person.
Other scheduled activities for the week include a 6th grade SOAR assembly on September 15, 2026, and a third grade field trip to the zoo on September 17, 2026. A Screen Guy Assembly and parent teacher conferences are set for September 23, 2026.
Lincoln Academy also noted that yearbook sales are currently open with tiered pricing available through Valentine's Day. Additionally, the school is seeking classroom sponsors to help fund hands-on learning experiences and field trips.
