The Weber County Commission announced a schedule for upcoming budget hearings regarding the 2027 budgets, according to a September 25 notice. The hearings are scheduled to begin on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Weber Center in Ogden.
The hearings will be held in the Commission Conference Room #365 of the Weber Center, located at 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah. The initial session on Monday, September 28, 2026, will include a pre-budget meeting at 7:30 a.m., followed by sessions for the Treasurer's Office, Assessor's Office, Clerk/Auditor's Office, Public Defenders, Animal Services, Commission/Public Relations, Attorney's Office, Administrative Services, Weber Human Services, and the Children's Justice Center.
Additional hearings are scheduled for the following weeks. On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the commission will meet with the Library at 4:00 p.m. On Thursday, October 1, 2026, sessions are set for Comptroller Miscellaneous at 9:00 a.m. and the Sheriff's Office at 1:30 p.m. The schedule continues on Monday, October 5, 2026, with the Health Department, Recorder/Surveyors Office, Weber Area Dispatch 911 & Emergency Services, and Paramedics. On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the Community Development department will have a hearing from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Thursday, October 8, 2026, hearings are scheduled for Culture, Parks & Recreation, Emergency Management, and Comptroller - Capital Projects.
Following these sessions, a Budget Hearings Wind-up is scheduled for Monday, October 19, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The budget process will conclude with a Commission Meeting on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., which will include a public hearing for the 2027 Tentative Budget at 6:00 p.m. Persons requiring auxiliary services for these meetings under the Americans with Disabilities Act should call the Weber County Commission Office at 801-399-8406 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
