Stage 2 fire restrictions have been implemented, prohibiting all open fires of any kind. This ban includes fires inside established fire pits, charcoal grills, pellet grills, and any other ash-producing fuel.
Under these restrictions, properly shielded gas or liquid-fueled portable camp stoves with a shut-off valve are permitted. These must be used in an area at least three feet in diameter that is barren and contains no flammable vegetation.
The Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum offers visitors the opportunity to explore Utah's early history. The museum is located within the oldest existing governmental building in the state.
The Statehouse serves as the south wing of a larger building that was never completed. It currently houses exhibits detailing the story of Utah's Territorial period.
