The Summit County Council was scheduled to meet on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, according to a notice published August 29. The meeting was slated to occur both electronically via Zoom and in person at Richins Auditorium in Park City.
The scheduled agenda included a 2:00 PM site visit to the PEAK Center located at 6301 North Landmark Drive in Park City. Following the visit and travel time, the council was set to discuss property acquisition at 3:00 PM.
Additional items on the agenda included a discussion regarding a change to the chart of positions to add a new full-time position to the Department of Motor Vehicle. The council was also scheduled to consider the possible revocation of a Conditional Use Permit for a recycling facility, Class II, and nursery/greenhouse located at 7550 W. Lower Bowl Road.

The first involved a possible rezoning for the Crossroads at Silver Creek from Rural Residential to the Community Commercial Zone and Master Planned Development. This project involves 66 townhomes, 4 apartments, 20 affordable housing units, and 32,000 square feet of retail/commercial space.
The second public hearing was scheduled regarding a Master Planned Development for the Junction Commons, a mixed-use redevelopment project located at 6699 N. Landmark Dr. in Kimball Junction.
