The Plain City Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, followed by a City Council work meeting, according to a September 8 notice.
The Planning Commission meeting is set to begin at 7:00 p.m., with a City Council work meeting scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers at Plain City Hall, located at 4160 West 2200 North, and will also be accessible via Zoom.
Legislative items on the agenda include a discussion and motion to set a public hearing for October 8, 2026, regarding a rezoning request. The request seeks to change the zoning for Parcel 190270007, located approximately at 4700-5100 W 2700-3100 N for Western Basin Land & Livestock, from A-2 to C-3.
The meeting agenda also includes a roll call, an opening statement, and the approval of minutes from Aug. 13, 2026, and Aug. 27, 2026. Additionally, the City Council work meeting will focus on the General Plan.
