A 17-year-old teenager was critically injured Friday afternoon after an e-motorcycle rider was struck by a vehicle at a Provo intersection. The collision, which occurred just after 4:30 p.m. on July 10, 2026, sent the juvenile to Utah Valley Hospital in critical condition.
Police Investigation Details
According to the Provo Police Department, the accident took place at the intersection of 600 West and Center Street. The teenager was traveling northbound on 600 West when they were struck by a vehicle traveling east along Center Street.
The department's Traffic Accident team responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. During the process, officials reduced the flow of eastbound and westbound traffic to one lane in each direction. While investigators remained on the scene for some time, police later provided an update stating that the road had been cleared.
