Lincoln Academy has announced a busy schedule for the week of April 13th through April 20th, 2026. The upcoming period features numerous athletic competitions, student performances, and several school-wide safety and administrative updates.
Athletic and extracurricular activities are scheduled throughout the week. Girls soccer games are set for April 13th, April 15th, April 16th, and April 20th. The boys volleyball schedule includes games on April 16th and April 20th.
Performance events include a Matilda Jr. Staff Preview on April 15th, followed by several Matilda Jr. Play performances scheduled for April 16th, 17th, and 18th. Additionally, the AFHS Orientation is scheduled for April 13th from 8:00am to 9:00am, and a 5th Grade Hope of America Practice will take place on April 15th.
An all-staff evacuation drill is also planned for April 15th between 1:30pm and 3:00pm.
The school has issued several safety and community reminders. Families are asked to assist in keeping the school community safe and respectful during drop-off and pick-up by driving slowly through school zones, following carpool procedures, and staying in designated areas. The school also requested that parents remind students to respect nearby property and avoid leaving trash or picking up rocks.
A reminder from the USPS advises against blocking mailboxes during school events and requests that drivers avoid parking near fire hydrants. Additionally, staff members have encouraged families to monitor school fees and lunch balances as the end of the school year approaches.
As end-of-year testing approaches, Lincoln Academy is seeking donations of individually wrapped snacks, such as crackers or fruit leather, to help keep students focused. The school also highlighted the sponsorship program, which allows families and businesses to fund classroom experiences like field trips and educational materials.
For students needing academic support, the Academic Lab at American Fork City Library offers free math and reading help for various grade levels during specific weekday hours.
