The Wellsville City Council has announced a meeting scheduled for Sept. 16, 2026, to address several municipal matters, according to a Sept. 11 notice. The meeting is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. at 75 East Main in Wellsville.
A public hearing is scheduled to begin at 6:10 p.m. during the meeting. During this session, the City Council is expected to receive public input and consider a resolution to adopt the Final 2026/2027 operating and capital budgets for the General Fund, Capital Projects Fund, Water Fund, Sewer Fund, and Storm Water Fund.
The agenda also includes a discussion regarding options for speed limit designations along 1600 South, spanning from Highway 89/91 to 320 East 1600 South in Wellsville. Other scheduled items include a roll call, approval of minutes from previous meetings, approval of accounts payable disbursements, and various department and city manager reports.
