Farmington High School has announced upcoming community events, including the Phoenix 5K scheduled for August 15, 2026. The school also previously listed Phoenix Night, which took place on August 7.
In summer reading initiatives, students can participate in Davis Reads 45. This challenge encourages students to read for 45 days to earn prizes every five days and qualify for a special end-of-summer event. Families are advised to pick up books during summer library hours and check with local elementary schools regarding specific schedules.
Davis School District has also partnered with Waterford Upstart to offer an on-demand early learning program for PreK children. The program provides tools, coaching, and resources in reading, math, and science through fifteen-minute daily lessons. This opportunity is available to children entering kindergarten in Fall 2027. Looking back at recent academic milestones, Farmington High School celebrated 726 graduates who earned over $16.3 million in scholarships, along with various certificates and college credits. The graduating class also achieved 13,400 concurrent enrollment credits.
