For the 660 students currently enrolled at the Sandy Center, classes will proceed this fall as scheduled. The university noted that many of these students already utilize online courses or attend the main Salt Lake City campus, located approximately 25 minutes north of the Sandy location.
In a statement, Paul Kohn, senior vice provost for strategic enrollment and student success, said the university is committed to helping students navigate their options and make plans to ensure they continue moving toward their degrees. The university stated it will work with current students to help them determine how to continue their education in the spring semester.
