Lynndyl City is accepting letters of interest to fill a vacancy on the Planning and Zoning Committee, according to a September 7 statement. The vacancy involves an appointment to finish out an unexpired four-year term.
The appointment was scheduled to take place during the regular Planning and Zoning meeting on October 29, 2026, at 7:00 pm. The meeting is located at 98 E Center Street, Lynndyl, UT 84640.
Interested citizens must be United States citizens and at least 18 years old. Applicants must also be a resident of the municipality or a resident of the recently annexed area for 12 consecutive months and be a registered voter of the municipality.
In accordance with Utah Constitution, Article IV, Section 6, individuals convicted of a felony, treason, or a crime against the elective franchise, or mentally incompetent individuals, may not hold office until their right to hold elective office is restored under Section 20A-2-101.3 or 20A-2-101-5.
