The Oakley City Planning Commission scheduled a public hearing for September 2, 2026, to consider a conditional use permit for a proposed building, according to a notice published August 21.
The hearing is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at 960 W. Center Street. Residents can also participate via Zoom.
The proposed project involves a 6,700 square foot garage at 5650 N Franson Lane on a 4.81-acre property. The structure is described as being 67 by 100 feet with a height of 27 feet. The garage is planned for the northeast corner of the property with the long side running east and west.
Woodward & Moody LTD is the applicant for the permit. Under Oakley City Code 13-4-19, the use is allowable with a conditional use permit in the A5 zone.
