The Provo City School District has listed a vacancy for a Speech-Language Pathologist. The position is intended for the 2026-2027 school year and involves working with students who have articulation, fluency, voice, language, or communication disabilities.
The role requires performing complex technical tasks such as applying assessment instruments and operating specialized equipment used in the treatment of communication disorders. Responsibilities include screening, identifying, diagnosing, and counseling individuals at risk for communication-related disabilities.
According to the job description, the pathologist will collaborate with special education teams to conduct assessments, review data, and inform parents of procedural safeguards. The position also involves documenting student progress, maintaining compliance with Medicaid, and writing effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
