The Smithfield City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, to discuss Ordinance 2026-15, according to a September 3 notice. The hearing focuses on a request to rezone a Cache County parcel from A-10 (Agricultural 10-Acre) to A-5 (Agricultural 5-Acre).
The proposed rezoning involves a parcel located at approximately 1350 East 120 South, totaling about 5.21 acres. The request for the change was submitted by Elk Ridge Subdivision, LLC.
