Volunteers are being sought to help prepare Ashton Gardens for the upcoming Luminaria holiday light experience. The project, sponsored by Thanksgiving Point, involves decorating trees and event spaces to create a festive atmosphere for guests.
The volunteer opportunities are scheduled to take place between October 20 and November 11, 2026. One specific session is scheduled for October 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM in Lehi, Utah.
Activities for volunteers include wrapping lights around fresh-cut trees placed throughout the gardens and decorating pathways and event spaces. Participants will work together to prepare the gardens for the winter season and help create a welcoming atmosphere for the thousands of guests expected to visit.
Individuals and groups aged 18 and older are eligible to volunteer. Because the work involves working outdoors in the gardens, volunteers are advised to dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothing suitable for hands-on tasks.
Ashton Gardens transforms each winter into a holiday light experience featuring millions of twinkling lights, illuminated trees, and various festive displays. This project is endorsed by Thanksgiving Point and is provided through JustServe, a service provided by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Interested parties can contact Angela Free regarding the project. The project is located at Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah.
