The Hillside Review Board of the City of St. George scheduled meetings for August 26, 2026, according to a public notice published August 21.
The meetings will address hillside development permit requests involving parking expansion and single-family home construction.
The first meeting, scheduled for approximately 8:30 a.m., concerns the IHC St George Regional Hospital Parking Lot Expansion. The request seeks a Hillside Development Permit to allow the disturbance of areas in the 20-30%, 30-40% and 40% and above slope areas to add 137 additional parking spaces to the off-site parking lot. This meeting is located at the Southeast parking lot on Medical Center Dr.
A second meeting is scheduled for approximately 9:30 a.m. regarding the Desert Haven project. This request also seeks a Hillside Development Permit to allow the disturbance of areas in the 20-30%, 30-40%, and 40% and above slope areas to develop single-family homes. The meeting location is at the Southeast end of Joey Way in Desert Canyons.
The board's agenda also includes the consideration of meeting minutes from the July 22, 2026, meeting.
